Rules

The rules for the Triggy's Fantasy Formula 1 leagues are fairly simple. To aid you in understanding the rules and regulations, we have prepared this guide.

Team choice

Every player in the league has a team which consists of 2 constructors and 4 drivers of their choice. Your choice of drivers is completely independent of your constructors choice. This means that you don't have to pick the drivers who race for your chosen constructers, and you have a greater ability to earn points in each race.

Basic rules

The idea of the game is to score as many points as humanly possible over the course of the season. Points are earned by both your constructors and your drivers over both the race and the qualifying session. Even if one of your drivers is unable to finish a race, you will earn points based on their qualifying position and other factors such as beating their teammate. You can however lose points if one of your constructors or drivers in your team perform badly. Below is a run down of the points that both constructors and drivers can earn over a race weekend.

Transfers
spacer image
You get one free transfer per race. This means that you can make one change (constructor or driver) between race weekends without penalty. Extra transfers are possible, but you will recieve a deduction of 10 points per extra change for the next race. Changing 3 drivers for example will earn you a 20 point deduction. It is often a gamble changing more than one member of your team as they may not be a sufficient improvement over your existing choice to earn your 10 point penalty back. However on occasions it is a wise move to take a penalty hit as you can earn more points with a better choice of team.
You get one Joker or wildcard per season. This can be played at any point in the season and means you can make as many transfers as you like without penalty.
